Introducing: Fight, flee, freeze and FEEL...

For the last century, we have been over-investing in our mental reasoning through our magnificent brain logic. And we have under-investing in our magnificent heart logic. We deserve better! For our body to fully leverage its human intelligence, we need to invest in mental & emotional reasoning equally. It is the crossroad of all our paths & the doorway for our very unique & magnificent growth. We invite you to let your heart drive your experience in perfect harmony with your mind.

So, next time you react poorly to a situation, instead of being intentional about it, avoid the following statement afterwards: "I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention". Ask yourself: What was my intention then? How was it different from what happened? Could I have had this intention in the first place... or did the situation trigger it? Can I share this out loud with the person in front of me to enlighten our shared understanding?

We know we can learn from all situations. But do we know what to do? Do we know what it means to be a vessel of information? Do we know how useful we can be for one another? And do we know what it feels like?

By fully leveraging our body intelligence, we can access highly personalized information designed just for ourselves. Are you ready to decipher what your doubts & emotions have coded for you? Are you ready to leverage your emotions towards better decision making?

Practice #1: Feel it in your body, connect with your senses.

Answer the questions below:

  • What am I feeling right now? Where am I feeling it?

  • Examples: I’m feeling some tension in my shoulders, I’m feeling some contractions in my neck, I’m feeling stressed, scared to be judged for what I said, I’m feeling anxious about the decision I made, I’m feeling unclear, my mind is foggy, I’m lacking energy, I’m feeling heavy in my entire body… or I’m feeling light & in expansion…

Throughout this first practice, don’t try to fix anything. Simply repeat those 2 questions until you have no more answers: “What am I feeling? Where am I feeling it?”

Practice #2: Recognize your mental narrative.

Answer the question below:

  • What are the stories I’m telling myself? What do you think towards the emotions I am feeling right now? Am I judging them? Am I just embracing them?

  • Example from the above conversation: I think they are choosing the word “doubt” because they had a tough life. Their life experiences have prevented them from accessing a more positive state of being. They probably could use some self-love…

Doubts may be uncomfortable by nature, because they ask us to challenge what we are experiencing. They ask us to revisit the status quo. And we know how scared we are of change, right?!

If you flip the coin, doubts can become the stimulus of a transformation towards a positive outcome your brain alone cannot imagine. Doubts can become the strings from which you keep bouncing around. Never stuck, endlessly moving towards your self-discovery, your authentic self, your authentic path. If we look at doubts as roots to our own growth, aren’t we guaranteed to keep growing?

Look at doubts as signals for you to change something. Take a deep breath, relax and trust that your intuitive self holds the answers when your mind is dry. Remember, you are not a victim, you have free will so give yourself the chance to access the knowledge your intuition is holding for you.

For the Heart Math Institute: "Heart intelligence is the flow of awareness, understanding and intuition we experience when the mind and emotions are brought into coherent alignment with the heart. It can be activated through self-initiated practice, and the more we pay attention when we sense the heart is speaking to us or guiding us, the greater our ability to access this intelligence and guidance more frequently. Heart intelligence underlies cellular organization and guides and evolves organisms toward increased order, awareness and coherence of their bodies’ systems." Find out more>

There is no one way to regain energy. There are plenty of energy tools. They are unique to each of us and require work, exploration, experiences. They are not replicable because we are unique and we are in constant evolution, in constant change so those ways to clear our energetic field are evolving too. We have full power to control our mind and reconnect with our body intelligence. It is our job to welcome our doubts so they can lighten our own path. Become the explorer of your own life, connect with the Marco Polo that resides within you.
